The Sound & The Story
The Swing Cats are one of Ireland's most exciting live bands: a six-piece line-up of drums, double bass, piano, saxophone and trumpet fronted by the charismatic Luke Thomas on vocals. For over 14 years they've been Ireland's leading swing band, bringing 1940s and 50s dance-era classics — Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack, Bobby Darin — to life with a high-octane, modern edge.
Vintage swing, rock & roll energy and modern party anthems, blended into a set that works as comfortably in a theatre as it does on a wedding dance floor. The band reads the room and moves fluidly between elegant dinner-set swing and full-throttle sing-along moments.
